The 1-Mile Walk is a great choice for families, kids, or anyone who wants to be part of the race element of the event but are not up for running or walking the full 5K distance.
Participants in the Walk get all of the same benefits as the 5K participants with less of the training.

Before the band arrives, the Roadies do what's called the Load In, where all the necessary equipment for the gig is loaded into the venue. For your race day gig, you will be able to pick up your race shirt and bib prior to race day. Below is the schedule:
SATURDAY 6/13 @ Westminster Farm Museum from 2p to 4a
To pick up your packet, please bring your QR CODE that will be emailed to you during race week. Your QR CODE is also included in your confirmation email. You may pick up for a friend as long as you have thier QR CODE and/or written confirmation that you have permission to do so. (e.g email, text, printed note, etc.)
The Race Starts promptly at 5pm. Please be sure to attend packet pick up at the times above to assure you are able to make it the start in a timely fashion.
GROUPIES (aka social teams)
GROUPIES get discounted entry fees, as well as additional benefits and prices. Running with a friend (or a group!) really is so much more fun than running alone. Once the race is over, a team is there to celebrate, and relax after the accomplishments of the day. Plus, they’ll keep people going and motivate them to keep training or finish strong if they’re starting to feel sluggish mid-race.

TOUR RULES (aka restrictions)
30 MINUTE TIME LIMIT | NO DOGS ON THE COURSE OR AT THE FINISH LINE FESTIVITIES
The Rock 'n Run 1-mile walk is an untimed event. Participants must finish the 1 mile course in under 30 minutes. As long as you can finish under the time limit, participants can run, jog or walk the entire course. Don’t worry, the post race festivites at the end of the race will be eagerly awaiting you!
Jogging strollers are permitted but are asked to start in the back of the pack. Wheelchair athletes are permitted but due to safety concerns and street closure restrictions cannot travel faster than the fastest runner. No bikes, scooters, skateboards, or other wheeled vehicles are allowed. PLEASE NO DOGS ON THE COURSE OR AT THE FINISH LINE FESTIVITIES.
ROADIES (aka volunteers)
Interested in volunteering and supporting your community, as well as hundreds of runners and walkers? There’s a spot for everyone at volunteer stations including: registration, starting line, finish line, water stops, course monitors and more.
